i’ve been reading “Spirits of the Earth: A Guide to Native American Nature Symbols, Stories, and Ceremonies” by the late, great Bobby Lake-Thom (Medicine Grizzly Bear) and i’m loving the allusions to Carl Jung’s brain hemisphere theory. it seems to me like nowadays we all could use a little quality time with our right brain, or “old brain” - the one that isn’t so suppressive.
